Halfway between Florence and Siena, Tuscan wine estate with 78 hectares of land, of which 21,5 ha of vineyards and 20 ha of olive grove.

Placed 330 metres above the sea level, this wine and oil producing estate is located in the heart of Tuscany, between the Val di Pesa and the Val d’Elsa. A few kilometers from the birthplace of Boccaccio, Certaldo, it is only half an hour away by car from the nearest airport, Firenze Peretola. San Gimignano, declared UNESCO World Heritage Site, Montecatini Terme, famous for its thermal baths, and Pisa with its Leaning Tower, are all within easy reach.


DESCRIPTION OF BUILDINGS


The property consists of a main villa in need of renovation, measuring 633 sqm, with agricultural premises attached, offices, housing for employees, and a restored farmhouse with four apartments (22 beds) currently running as an accommodation business and a wine tasting room with breakfast room. The estate includes also a state-of-the-art oil mill, used also for third party’s olive pressing.

 

An Agricultural Improvement Plan has already been approved which would grant the possibility to build up to 7,000 cubic meters (olive oil mill with orciaia, wine cellar and offices), the conversion of the “tinaia” (1.800 cubic meters) into a staff quarter and the possibility to create an indoor heated pool connected to the outdoor one.
